About Benal
In my spare time as a child, I liked hot gluing random bits and bobs together to create strange sculptures, reading, or playing with the bugs in the garden and pretending to be a survivalist.
I decided the design field was going to facilitate this melangé of interests into a cohesive story as an adult and surprisingly, it has. I received my BDes from Carnegie Mellon and my MDes from UC Berkeley.
Currently I’m a Senior Designer at Tellart in Amsterdam, crafting experiences at the intersection of people, nature, and technology at many scales. I’ve had the chance to wear many hats across the different projects at Tellart, from concepting from scratch to advising on a World Expo build.
I am able stretch and grow across many different roles - a sort of creative Play-Doh, if you will - with work spanning across industrial, strategy, and experience design.
